Steve Hancock is well known as the Frontman in the Elevation U2 Tribute and the BNO Rockshow. In Anthems Of Oz Steve again shows his versatility with an exceptional vocal range and ability to mimic so many different singers. Anthems Of Oz allows Steve to bring to the audience the music he grew up on and listens to today. "Go The Aussie's"
Byron Alexander moved from the Gold Coast to Sydney in 2005 and joined the Elevation U2 Tribute as 'The Edge' with great success. Byron now gets to unleash a full range of sounds and crank the guitar for Anthems Of Oz.
Greg Agar brings to Anthems of Oz the essential piano and keyboards needed for this show with absolute class. Greg has played keyboards for many bands in Sydney and overseas, previously with the Gold Chisel Show and more recently just back from a 6 month stretch in China and Thailand with his touring band. Together with Byron they also provide great harmony backing to the show.
Bill Riley, bass player extraordinaire and as sturdy and reliable as ever to pump out the Anthems of Oz. Bill has been with Steve in the U2 Show for over 8 years and they have deveolped a great relationship together on and off stage. Like Steve so many of these songs take Bill back to his childhood, but "did he ever really grow up?"
Michael Chambers gets to steer the band around the paddock in the Drummer seat for Anthems Of Oz. Mike keeps himself more than busy teaching and playing in the Foo Fighters Show, Monkey Wrench. Many may know Mike from doing sound with countless number of bands throughout Sydney.
